Arrampica in Valsesia

I directed this mini-series to show what climbing in Valsesia actually feels like. Not only the ascent, but what happens between the climber and the valley. The rock, the silence, the obsession. I shot on location across the season and kept the language raw, closer to the people than to the sport. The valley has a climbing community that almost never gets a camera pointed at it.
